Burning up the Screen – Grimm

Ding! Ding! Ding!  I found my new favorite TV show.

I’m not a huge TV watcher – no reality tv or dancing with anybody for me.  I watch Hawaii 5-0, Glee and . . .  that’s about it.  I’m waiting for ‘Being Human” to come back on but in the meantime, I was unable to fill the spot of my beloved “Smallville”.

Until now.

Grimm is about Nick, a homicide detective in Portland who discovers that he is a Grimm -a person who can see demons, etc. He also finds out that the fairy tales written by the Brothers Grimm were really a how-to manual for monster hunters and not the bedtime stories everyone thought they were.

This show is funny, smart, dark, with just the right touch of ominous.  And the leading man is quite the cutie . . . .Love it!  I’ll be tuning into Grimm on NBC every Friday night at 9  pm.

Burn it up,

Robin

  1. Cool show. I particularly liked Eddy, the Big Bad Wolf sidekick Nick seems to have dragged onto his team–just the right note of comic relief. BTW, the pilot of Once Upon a Time was entertaining, too.

  2. This is on my DVR. I can’t wait to watch it. Saving it for a reward for when I finish Trust In Me, my current book I’m working on. About half way there, so I’ll probably have 2 to watch by then.

  3. Yep. It’s on my list, too. I just need the leading man to muss up his hair a bit (which will happen:)…and then with the story – I’m good. Also, David Greenwalt – show producer was originally the man behind “Angel” with David Boreanaz – always a favorite show runner of mine.
