Burning Music Love: iTunes Card Giveaway!

Hey Friends –  A Night of Southern Comfort was a blast to write and partially because of the soundtrack on my iPod that helped me get in the mood for Jackson and Michaela’s story. It all started in a bar:

It was all about falling in love:

And, taking charge of your future:

And, then about finding your own happy ending:

Pretty huh?

I love music – in addition to writing, I also sing in a band and have for years. So, I always write with the iPod on and I’m always searching for new music. I’d love to hear what your favorite love song is. Let me know!

I’ll pick a winner for an iTunes $15 giftcard and two more to either get a copy of ANoSC or another Indulgence title if you have my book already.

Burn it up,

Robin

  1. I love music. I sing. Once upon a time, I played piano and guitar. But I can’t write to music. It’s too distracting – I want to sing along and that takes me out of the story I’m working on.

My latest fave piece of music is Malaguena Salerosa by Chingon. It’s high energy, full of heart, and never fails to lift my mood.

  2. The first song that popped into my head was Love Is by the Backstreet Boys. I’ve always loved that song. 😀

I used to sing a lot when I was in high school. I always say that having taken the choir classes that I did was the only thing that got me through high school. Apart from singing with the radio and such, I don’t sing much anymore. I miss it though.

  3. I would have done a review but I haven’t read the book yet. I like different songs for different moods. My first ever favourite pop love song was Song Sung Blue by Neil Diamond. A recent one is Love before time, the theme from Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. Was listening to Loving You and Winter in America on Youtube today.

  4. I’m partial to a couple of love songs.

My song with the hubby is Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You and he surprised me once with a CD of all different versions of that same song.

I’m also a HUGE fan of Ain’t No Sunshine. Just wow.

Lastly, I always loved Lady in Red. A lovely little song.

  5. There are so many good ones! Hm.. It’s hard to pick just one, but my newest favorite would have to be Adele’s Someone Like you or her version of Love Song.
